The Holly t0.15mm Wide Scriber
I first ran into these scribers at the 2018 IPMS National Convention in Phoenix. Intrigued, I bought a couple for testing on my bench: They are Awesome!!
-They have a long lasting nickel plated carbon steel tip that stays sharp.
-The small ergonomic design moves your hand closer to the cutting end of the tool thereby providing way better control.
-Most Importantly, the blade is shaped like a perfect rectangle, not a V-shaped wedge. With repeated swipes the inscribed line becomes Deeper but not Wider. This prevents a re-scribed line from becoming a too-large trench as can happen with round or V-shaped inscribers: at least in my heavy hands.
-The blade is so sharp that the inscribed plastic comes off like a ribbon.
This scriber, the t0.15, scribes lines that are 0.15mm wide.
To scribe thinner lines, check out the t0.10.
For wider lines check out the t0.20mm Holly Scriber.
