The NorthWest Scale Modelers Annual Show at the Museum of Flight Seattle.

Intro:

The annual Presidents Day Weekend Model Show took place again this year at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.  The event is hosted by the NorthWest Scale Modelers Club in the beautiful center display room under the SR-71: too cool huh? It’s a lot of fun. In addition to the NWSM club, members of IPMS Seattle, and local modelers participated.

For the little modelers-to-be, there was a “Make and Take” on Saturday hosted by Skyway Hobby Shop where kids received a free, easy-build kit and assistance from experienced hands if needed. For the big modelers, a series of seminars on both Saturday and Sunday  were given by senior members of both NWSM and IPMS Seattle that covered a broad range of modeling topics including history searches, soldering metal parts, and weathering/painting techniques.

A splendid time was had by all.

Enjoy the Pics and then go paint something !!
